    Topic: Are we ready for the Recession to end?

    A look at where we are now and how HR can shape the future as a strategic business partner

    In this session we will learn:

    • How to asses staffing and skill needs and meet training needs
    • Develop and maintain competitive pay and benefits
    • Manage Performance and design a reward system to keep employees motivated
    • What we can do to recruit and retain talent
    • Provide training that reinforces corporate values, including ethics

    Presenter: Scott Bowers, SPHR

    Scott develops his sessions around proven resources such as BLR, HR that Works, SHRM, EAF and other professional resources.  He is a Senior Professional in Human Resources and earned his Masters of Arts in 2001 from Ball State University in Executive Development which assures you his approach is as academically sound as it is inspirational. 

    Scott Bowers brings his unique talents of humor, passion for HR and Leadership Training and wide experience to every training session he conducts.  No matter how dry the subject, (FMLA, ADA, Diversity, Sexual Harassment, Interviewing, Discipline, Absenteeism, Motivation and Negativity) he is able to energize a discussion that educates and entertains the group.

    This Program has been approved for 1 General Credit hour toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR rectification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
