    Description of Program:

    Has your organization implemented policies and administrative procedures to comply with the Family & Medical Leave Act?  Are managers and supervisors in your organization properly responding to requests for leaves under the Act?  Understanding the interaction with Workers’ Compensation and Americans with Disabilities Act presents additional challenges - where does one begin and the other leave off?

    This program will explore:

    Leave requirements for employees who qualify for family and/or medical leaves.

    The reinstatement rights of employees following leaves under FMLA/ADA.

    How to analyze a FMLA/ADA request for time off.

    Answers to unusual/complex FMLA/ADA questions.

    Speaker

    Aaron is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried a variety of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under federal and state law. He also has extensive traditional labor law experience, including collective bargaining, union campaigns, and labor arbitrations. As a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Aaron provides around-the-clock, proactive, and common sense counseling and guidance to employers on every aspect of the employer-employee relationship. As a highly acclaimed and recognized speaker, teacher, and trainer, he regularly provides high-intensity, high-content seminars and classes for human resources professionals and managers.
