    Preventing  Fraud in Workers' Compensation

    Speaker: Betsy F. Campo, Eraclides Gelman

    Elizabeth (Betsy) Campo received her bachelors degree from the University of South Dakota in 1989, and her law degree from the University of Iowa in 1992.  After a brief stint  representing claimants in workers' compensation and general civil litigation, Elizabeth devoted her practice solely to the defense of workers' compensation claims in 1993.  Betsy joins Eraclides Gelman after serving as the managing pattner of the Gainesville McConaughhay law firm office for ten years, to spearhead the Eraclides Gelman Gainesville/Ocala office.  Betsey was admitted to the Iowa Bar in May, 1992, the Florida Bar in December, 1992 and the Missouri Bar in September, 1993.  Betsy is admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association (Workers' Compensation and Labor and Employment law sections), the Iowa Bar Association and the Missouri Bar Assocation.  Betsy is a frequent lecturer at workers' compensation educational seminars on a variety of topics.
