Working From Home: Time Mastery Tips

In this relatively new world, the need for greater self-management is more important than ever.  People are facing challenges for different reasons; one of which is the emotional strain, including the correlation to grief. During this one-hour virtual webinar, we intend to review some basic tips and best practices for working from home, especially when in greater isolation from community.  We will explore 12 categories of time mastery followed by a conversation and Q&A that would help participants share their own techniques or ask burning questions.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Joshua A. Sky has served as a trainer, facilitator, coach, educator and organizational leader. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he has been living in Southwest Florida since 1995. Combining an M.A. in Education with a B.A. in Sociology, Joshua has served as both an internal trainer and a contract trainer for a wide range of organizations. In addition, Joshua speaks five languages including French and Spanish.  The focus of THE SKY'S THE LIMIT CONSULTING, INC. encompasses Joshua’s philosophy of "Helping Individuals To Reach Their Potential".

In 1998, Joshua had the privilege of leading his local professional colleagues as the President of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), now the Association for Talent Development (ATD); he remains a National Member. Joshua is also a National Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is active in two local chapters where he volunteers his energy on several committees and projects.

In 2004, Joshua joined HR Collier (Naples) and in 2010, he joined SHRM– SWFL, formerly HRMA of Southwest Florida (Fort Myers). In 2006, Joshua earned the Certified DiSC® Trainer designation from Inscape Publishing, now John Wiley & Sons.  In 2007, TSTLC was certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) by the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce® (NGLCC). TSTLC regularly re-certifies with the NGLCC with each cycle.  In 2010, he was originally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). In 2015, Joshua earned a second professional designation in Human Resources as a Senior Certified Professional (the SHRM–SCP). Both credentials require re-certification every three years which he obtains through professional activity and continuing education.
