“Moving the Proverbial DEI Needle” 

In DEI, one may often hear about moving the needle.  But what is this needle and to what or to where are we trying to move it?  For DEI to advance, we need to understand what this needle is, how to articulate it, and what we are wanting to achieve.  What makes this trickier is that there is no “one size fits all” approach to DEI so moving the needle isn’t as easy as putting more gas in the gas tank.
