Human Resources Director with 17+ years of experience spanning healthcare and non-profit environments. I bring a people-centered, compliance-driven approach to HR leadership, with a strong focus on emmployee engagement, operational excellence, and mission alignment. My career foundation was built within the healthcare system, where I held roles in Pharmacy, Case Management, Risk Management, Medical Staff Services, Human Resources, and Plant Operations / Emergency Management at Shands Lake Shore. This broad operational background allows me to partner effectively with leadership, navigate complex workforce challenges, and impement practical HR solutions. Following the hospital's closure in 2020, I transitioned into my current role as Human Resources Director at CARC, a non-profit organization serving adults with disabiities across Columbia and surrounding counties. In this role, I provide both strategic and hands-on HR leadership, supporting organizational growth, regulatory compliance, and a positive, inclusive workplace culture. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from Saint Leo University and am deeply committed to developing people, strengthening organizations, and advancing mission-driven work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends, reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle. |
