“Prescribed Side Effects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA): Healthcare Reform Update”

You receive a notice in the mail from the EEOC: "A charge has been filed against you. No action required at this time." What does this mean? How should you respond? What comes next? This program will walk you through the entire process of an EEOC charge, from the first notice through litigation. It will include a discussion on settlement - when and how, pros and cons. You will learn how to manage an EEOC charge within your organization - what to tell your management, your employees, and your IT department.

Our first social of the year is after the regular Chapter meeting on April 11th. We will be gathering at 5:30pm at Las Margaritas at 4405 NW 39th Ave (Phone: 352-374-669) for drinks and appetizers and a chance to discuss all things HR in a casual, fun setting.

Don’t forget, you must pick up your drink tickets at the Chapter meeting (2 tickets for your choice of soft drinks, coffee, house wines or domestic and/or on-tap beer).
